The Tao island
Yes, this is a highlight of the trip that you will never forget: a ferry ride to Lanyu, a remote island off the coast of Taiwan. This is a special region where the Tao, one of Taiwan’s Indigenous groups, have preserved their unique culture. The best way to explore is to ride a scooter along the coast. You will also experience an exclusive Tao culture tour, visiting traditional local houses, with the option to go diving to explore vibrant coral reefs and swim alongside sea turtles.
Ancient trails & fire cooking
Returning to the mainland of Taiwan from Lanyu, your next adventure begins: walk along an ancient Indigenous coastal trail rich with Dutch-era history. Listen to stories of how trade once thrived here and how various Indigenous tribes communicated along this very path. Afterward, our guide will take you to a local home for a home-cooked meal, where you can taste the most authentic cuisine of Taiwan’s east coast. In the evening, return to your hotel to unwind in the natural hot spring bath right in your own room.
Southern beaches
It is time to slow down and relax. Located not far from Pingtung, you will find the beautiful sandy beaches of Kenting. Here, you don't need to do anything but lounge on the white sand and let your body fully unwind. If you are looking for extra excitement, take a thrilling banana-boat ride on the waves—there are various water sports available for you to choose from. In the evening, visit the local night market, where the vibe is even more chill than anywhere else in Taiwan, or simply treat yourself to a massage.

Your journey concludes in Kaohsiung, often referred to as the 'Rotterdam of Taiwan.' This city has successfully transformed from a heavy-industry port into a vibrant hub of culture and arts.
